A local small Korean shop that is serving some of the best fried chicken I have found around! The store specializes in primarily 3 different Korean food specialities--Bulgogi, Korean Fried Chicken, and Tteokbokki. The bulgogi they make is very well done--finely sliced beef in a rice bowl with onions and mixed vegetables. The beef is tender and lightly seasoned and flavored, and it is a light but filling meal.
Their Fried Chicken is the star of the show in my opinion. Each of the fried chicken pieces are about the size of one's palm, so they are hefty and heavy and have a delicious fry all over. The Fried Chicken Box comes with 6 pieces, and that easily is shared by 2 people. For those who love Korean Fried Chicken, the sauces here are unfortunately not as "melt-your-face-spicy" as the gojujang spiced ones you get in Korea. However, that doesn't mean the sauces aren't delicious in their own right! If you're ok with the sauce being sweeter rather than spicy, I recommend getting the Korean Chicken Box, as each of the pieces are deeply dipped in sauce and they are nicely covered and coated in sauce, which was very, very delicious.
For anyone who has tried Tteokbokki before, this store does a pretty faithful recreation of it! They use the smaller rice-sticks in their dish, and the sauce they have is spicy but still on the sweet side. You can get it as a side or as part of a Bulgogi meal. I think it's better as a side, as the sauce kinda overpowers the Bulgogi itself. Either way, it's absolutely delicious overall!
The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is quite cozy and nice! They can fit about 4-6 people at the tables, and about 4 people on the raised corner table. Credit...

Food we have ordered:
Original and Spicy Bulgogi plates Bulgogi Kimbap Topokki (Tteokbokki) Rangoon Mayo Pasta
Location: close to Kadena Gate 1, nearby popular for new moms in the area: Starbucks (drive - thru) , bunny store, Big Aeon, American village
The employees are friendly and ready to help with questions New and Clean establishment Authentic Korean food (per my husband who has lived in Korea) Tasty Topokki Good flavor Good amount of food for the price Side dishes are good side options and taste good Good wait time for food order Kid friendly - if your kids like pasta they may like the Mayo pasta If you’re into non sweet kimchi this is your place for it
CONS: Not a lot of variety of flavor choices for Bulgogi. They have two flavors. Original and Spicy. Both are good. I have enjoyed dipping the Bulgogi into the Topokki sauce to add a little bit of flavor but I will say the meat is always cooked just right. The portion matches the price.
Urban Deli has not disappointed our needs for good food and friendly helpful service.
I have listed pictures as well as my youtube video that shares a little bit about our Urban Deli experience.

Read moreI am so happy that I found this place and have to thank the previous reviewers for their spot-on recommendations. I ordered the spicy bulgogi plate and kimbap and both were sooo good!
But I have to give a special shout-out to the kimchi. I’m very picky about my kimchi and so I was thrilled to find a restaurant that serves authentic tasting kimchi 😋 I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.
Thank you for the wonderful...
