I had lunch at Ristorante Ecru and tried their ãLunchã-menu Pranzo-. This course includes an appetizer platter, two kinds of pasta, a meat dish, and a dessert.
For pasta, you can choose from two types of spaghetti and two types of handmade pasta. I picked the "Corn Carbonara" for the spaghetti. Itâs made without eggs, using a corn puree instead. The flavor was well-balanced, with a nice mix of corn sweetness and saltiness. For the handmade pasta, I chose the Tagliatelle with slow-cooked pork belly meat sauce. The soft tagliatelle paired perfectly with the rich meat sauce, giving a very satisfying taste.
For the main dish, I chose the "Shimanoto Beer Beef," which was charcoal-roasted. The outside was crispy and flavorful, while the inside remained juicy and tender. The combination with the sauce was excellent.
The pasta and main dish must be the same for everyone at the table, but each dish was so well-prepared that it didnât feel limiting. Lastly, you can choose your dessert and drink from several options, making it a nice way to end the meal.
