I went there for a business dinner meeting and was impressed with the individual room we were set up with. The servers were all classy wearing kimonos and very demure and welcoming. They had English menus, directions, and one server who could help us in English. The most fascinating part was watching the servers make the mizutaki meatballs they put directly into the hot pot with such precision and care.
Since "Mizutaki" is one of Fukuoka's must-eat dishes, I'm glad I came here for my first time! You can tell the quality of the broth and chicken were top notch due to how bouncy the meat is and fresh and light the taste of everything was. There were always times where you could customize your Mizutaki hot pot flavor (ie. ponzu, yuzu pepper paste, scallions, and their special brand of natural salt) in your own bowl or cup, which was great because I prefer a milder taste while my colleagues used the ponzu or salt to their liking.
