Came here at 5:45PM on a weekend evening, not open yet. While waiting, I saw the owner talk to all the other groups that showed up, but not us. Closer to opening time, he moved the group of 4 behind us to be ahead of us, and he was gesturing for the group of 2 behind us to move ahead of us as well until my friend told him in Japan that we're waiting too. I don't know what's up with that, are we invisible? Before opening, we were supposed to be first in line, but as mentioned above, the owner moved a group of 4 before us, and allowed 3 other pairs (not in line - one pair did arrive quite early, but two pairs got there way later) get seated before us. Before he seated the group of 4, I said we got here before, and he said they made a reservation. What reservation? I didn't see anyone taking reservations.
Waited more than an hour to finally get some food. Got oden and ramen. Oden was flavorful, quite tasty. Ramen was overly salty, way too heavy, only redeeming factor was chewy (thin) noodles. Wouldn't have ordered it if I knew that's what it tasted like, would've gotten more oden. Yakitori looked good but was pricey and I'm not too big a fan of meat.
Not worth the wait,...

I will mention that it is very pricey. I paid almost ¥4000 for one Wagyu skewer, one prawn, one beer, and two pieces of oden- fish cake and daikon. Equivalent to about 3 excellent ramen meals or a fancyeal at a proper restaurant rather than waiting out in the rain and getting smoked. So it is not very affordable. Or maybe I didn't know how to order...
Read moreThe oden was flavorful, and the prices were reasonable, especially considering its popularity among tourists.
However, the experience was a bit mixed. The grill’s smoke blew directly into my face, making it uncomfortable and prompting me to eat quickly. Additionally, the staff seemed rushed and less friendly, possibly due to the limited seating and high turnover. While the food was good, the overall atmosphere felt hurried.
