The desserts here are mostly based on chestnuts. Gero and the surrounding Hida are is known for chestnut desserts, and this shop offers excelent delicacies. I tried the jelly dessert covered with chestnut powder and it was really good even though I am not a fan of chestnuts. The same goes for the sweet bean dorayaki - it was really good. 栗の聖地　中津川が本店の『仁太郎』さんなら間違いないですね

下呂へプチ旅行に来て、ついでに立ち寄りましたよ。

三連休の中日、下呂温泉界隈は若者や親子連れで賑わっていました。

往年の活気が戻りつつあるようで嬉しいなぁ。

◎栗モンブランの王道 里山　６８０円 と ◎栗子餅　４個入り　６５０円を ペイペイで購入しました。

まだまだ予定があったので、家に戻るのは夜になります。

保冷剤を袋に入れ、しっかりガードして 持ち歩きます。

店内で軽くイートインできるスペースはあるのですが、混み合っていたことと、ランチでフレンチフルコースを食べたばかりなので断念。

夜に栗子餅（当日限り） 朝に里山（翌日までOK）を食べようと計画しつつ店を後にしました(^^)

※ちなみに『栗粉餅』ではなくて 『栗子餅』で正解です。

栗子餅は甘さ控えめで餅はもっちり、栗粉はたっぷりで大満足♡

里山も比較的リーズナブルなのに栗感ずっしりで美味しかったです。何より大粒の栗が形良く立派で美味しかったのです。

さすが仁太郎さん♡ スタッフさんも大変丁寧な接客です。

箱入りの栗お焦げは販売されてましたが、 本店で有名な窯から、こそげ落として提供される栗お焦げの販売はないとのことでした。
