What a happy find! The owners are kind and helpful, the food delicious, and very good service.

Our group of four had such a good time at Carnival Izakaya! We were looking for some late night drinks and food and so glad we walked a bit more to find this place open.

Our group and the owners both used Google Translate, and we ordered drinks and had the Pork Ginger and Chicken Karage. Both were excellent. Another group joined later and we all sang karaoke until the bar closed at midnight. We had multiple drinks, food, and several Karaoke songs, and for 4 people the price was very reasonable.

Not sure what the bad reviews are about. It’s not the easiest or most tourist friendly from the outside but the owner is wonderful, food is delicious and it is incredibly welcoming. I think there’s a lot of ignorant tourist related reviews below of folks that may have misunderstood the lack of English menu. We had 6 beers and 5 total dishes and it was 10540 yen, so maybe a bit pricey but everything was wonderful. And we had great chats via google translate with the owners.
