wow! i have to rate that as one of the best meals i have had in ages! up there with any of the fine dining places i have eaten at including the michelin starred ones! cost performance is great! you arent going to find this quality of food for this price at too many places in the world!!

everything we tried was amazing, but the stand out dishes were the carrots and the mussles, they were the most amazing preparation of each that i have ever tried! the salad and pork were also amazing! i cant wait to to back and have them all again as well as to try the wagyu and anything new they come up with or we didnt try last time!

the presentation was beautiful, service was amazing, staff are attentive and friendly. amazing work for being open for less than 2 months!!

the breakfast looks great too! i'll go try that sometime soon as well!

do not miss this if you are in hakuba. and make reservations!! they are booked out for like a week in the winter and will probably get busier as the word gets out!!

100% satisfied!

the only thing i regret was that i was so excited to try each plate that i forgot to...

Unreal restaurant in Hakuba, great dim lit setting with very good international staff.

I'd say, it's about as fine dining as you can get at a place in Hakuba, where you have the seasonal influx of tourists and being able to remain busy all year would be difficult. So very impressed with the quality of food and the creativity that came with it.

The steak as the last course on the tasting menu was absolutely insane! Thinly sliced steak with a well grilled/charred outer made for a mouth watering bite! Only problem was, the portions on the lead up were generous and by the time the steak arrived we had eaten a lot! So certainly felt like gorging by the time we got the steak. Maybe only recommendation would be to have the steak earlier on in the set menu? That might be sacrilidge though in fine dining??? Not sure.

All in all, unreal meal and would recommend. With two bottles of Wine, two beers and 4 set menus came to about $200 AUD a head...

Best food I’ve had in Hakuba. Everything was so intricately flavored, each sauce and food was so delightful. It was a mix of japanese ingredients with a western food, like this tuna guacamole with seaweed chips. I especially enjoyed the mussels that came with the best sourdough I’ve ever had and I kid you not I am not exaggerating. It was lightly toasted, crispy and buttered on top. The tomato sauce was amazing and gave flavourful fillings to my mouth. The chicken was crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. The flavour of the chicken stayed in my mouth for so long and I wished it would stay longer.. 10/10 would recommend and come again. Our chef Raphael...

Absolutely beautiful meals and service. We came here on our honeymoon ski trip and had the most amazing dinner. We started with the carrots and broccoli - the carrots were the best I’ve ever had. We moved onto the mussels which is a house specialty, the chicken and the salmon. All were done to perfection with a house made sauce to match. We finished with a dessert each, both of which were not for the faint hearted. The blue cheese cheesecake was as you can imagine and the smoked panna cotta was equally as robust. We enjoyed the mains with a bottle of the Tuscan Rosso. Would come back to Hakuba just to have dinner here once again.
