Popped in for lunch and couldn’t be happier. Extremely warm welcome from the lovely owner/chef. English menu showing the daily set lunch (grilled salmon on a Thursday) and very cold, well priced beer. Once you sit down you get to choose from 3 side dishes (out of 6) to go with your main of the day, plus you get rice, miso soup and pickles. Want to gatekeep this place, but this home-style restaurant deserves all good reviews! The owner lady (also the chef) is very kind and friendly. She tried her best to communicate with foreigners to take orders and explained she may take slightly longer to prepare the food. I feel like I'm eating home cook food, simple concept but food was delicious and filling.
