Aragaki house — Restaurant in Hiroshima

We visited for an evening meal and had a great time-highly recommend.

The menu is not available in English nor do the staff speak it (and we speak no Japanese), but if you’re okay with some google translate you’ll be fine. The staff are absolutely lovely and were very patient with us.

The food was very nice, there was a wide selection on the evening menu+lots of specials. Some of it was quite different to anything I have ever had before, which was exciting.

Be forewarned, the dishes are large. We thought we were ordering small plates and basically ended up with enough to feed 4 people but we took some home for tomorrow’s lunch. Perhaps order a few bits (maybe 3 things for a couple) and add more if you are...

Phenomenal little restaurant where the vibes were immaculate. We stopped on a whim for lunch and loved every moment of this tiny restaurant. It's tucked away on the second floor, and the ambiance was unmatched. Paper lanterns, traditional instruments, and funky bottles lined the entrance to the restaurant. The booths were small but intimate, and the staff was kind and helpful. We paid just over $20 USD for two full meals, an appetizer, and 2 additional drinks. The food was phenomenal. We got the katsu meal and the karage chicken meal, as well as an appetizer of gyoza. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delectable. Definitely...

A good selection of different dishes and drinks. The service was quick and friendly. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and plenty of interesting decorations.

Would happily come back...
