Upon ordering, the waiter told us "it might take a little longer". There were 3 tables in total being served (ours included). However the chef was taking his sweet time cooking each individual dish for each table before even starting the others. Zero parallelism. Since both tables that arrived before me had ordered set menus, that meant two full set menus before even thinking about starting my order. We had ordered a simple pasta dish. Waited for 45+ minutes and after inquiring was told it would take at least 20 more. 1h+ is not "a little longer" nor an acceptable wait for pasta in a near empty...

I’m Italian-Anerican, and this food reminded me of my grandparents’ cooking. It was delicious! The atmosphere was calm, quiet, elegant. The owner, Yuka Ishida, was gracious and welcoming.
