Staff was friendly, but food was average. The website showed a lot of options for food apart from the sweets. These were not given. The sweet options were plenty but some cakes on the website were not available in store. Most of the cakes were dry and hard to eat and the ice cream wa snot so good too (except if the two of 9 options which were Häagen-Dazs). The soft sweve was not crwamy and had ice crystals. The salad bar was small as well. But the mont blanc was really gold, but that you need to ask for it was uncomfortable.
Maybe here is a possible improvement: Add at the buffet two spots. One for ordering fries and one for ordering mont-blanc. Provide the tables with numbers and cards with the number of the table on it. Then, customers can just place the cards at the spots for ordering fries and mont-blanc. The service members can then prepare the food and bring it to the tavle when it is ready. No person to person interaction is needed and the process is efficient and accessible for every customer. This also saves time and resources.
I read the response and am thankful for a restaurant taking reviews as constructive criticism to improve. I would love to visit again next month in March and maybe some improvement has...
Read moreIf I was 14 years old this place would be where you find me after school every day. This is a fun, adorable little restaurant chain you can find throughout Japan. I had not been before but I was seriously craving sweets and thought this would be a fun way to explore different options. This place is kind of pricy if you do it how I did - go after dinner and get dessert. You will get access to unlimited desserts, coffee, soda and tea but you wont get access to all of the other food options which you may, or may not, care about. IF you have a family member or friend who has not been to Japan before and is unsure about food options this could be a fun way to let them explore a simplified assortment of options without the pressure of ordering something off of a menu or not liking something. At the very least it's a place to stop for a...
Read moreIt's pretty inexpensive for a buffet and you actually leave really full. The offer a small number of savoury options (soup, pasta, curry) but 90% of the buffet is desserts. There is also a drink bar and for a limited time they have tapioca.
Staff were very polite and patient, and were able to help me figure out that none of the desserts contain peanuts.
I love the restaurant's decor and aesthetic. It's so happy and relaxing in there.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, there were a lot of safety measures in place. For instance, you have to order the pasta off a paper checklist and bring it to the chef, and you have to wear gloves and bring the tongs from your table to pick up...
