Headed to Hiroshima and wanted some Mexican. Was recommended a different place and they turned us away saying reservation only. Us was me and one other person smh. Did a quick search for another place near by and Cafe Latino come up and had great reviews. Decided to give it a try and I'm glad we were turned away from the other place cause Cafe Latino is great. I had the carnita burrito and the pork in that was mouth watering. One of the greatest Hispanic food I had in Japan. I say Hispanic cause it's not a Mexican restaurant and the cook is Peruvian. Loved this place. I’ve been wanting some good Latin food for awhile, and when I stumbled on this, I had to give it a try. My hopes weren’t too high, but, wow. The proprietor is from Cuzco, and is fluent in English, Japanese y español.

I tried the nachos and fried avocado my first visit. Nachos were excellent, and the salsa on the side spicy. Fried avocado was something new to try.

I had to come back for real food and had the lomo saltado. ¡Delicioso! Two salsas, one Japanese one Latino, both zippy and tasty.
