We went here on a random Tuesday evening in Hiroshima. The owner/bartender Sho was very welcoming, kind and friendly. We have had many cocktails during our vacation but I have to say the three cocktails I had here really take the cake.
I first had the melon and basil smash which was delicious, and so refreshing. I was about to order another when Sho mentioned he had won a cocktail competition after we asked about a trophy on his wall. He won the Hiroshima Farmer Cup in 2023, so had to try that cocktail.
The Lazy Sunday was maybe the best cocktail I’ve ever had in my life. It’s made with yuzu, apple, grey goose, coffee and Bacardi. Normally I would not order this but the balance of the yuzu and slight coffee flavor at the end really blew me away. It was so refreshing, light and perfectly balanced. Read moreI don’t even know where to start. Ok, maybe with some practicalities. The place is on 5th floor (not the first, like Google suggests), staff speaks English, they accept cards. Now to the main event. The service was amazing!!! The owner/ bartender was so charismatic and his hospitality was contagious. The drinks. OMG. They really were an explosion of good taste in our mouths. I started with melon & basil cocktail that was fresh and nice. Then I “took a risk” and went for the green tiramisu.
