A Wonderful 30th Birthday Celebration for My Husband at ViVi Bar!

This is our first year in Japan, and it happened to be my husband’s 30th birthday. We wanted to celebrate this special occasion at a great restaurant, so after much consideration, we decided on ViVi Bar—and it turned out to be the perfect choice.

I made a reservation a month in advance, and during this time, Ms. Noriko communicated with me multiple times via email, ensuring that every detail was well taken care of. When she learned that we were celebrating a birthday, she surprised us with a birthday cake and a bouquet of flowers, which was such a touching gesture. She even helped us take photos to capture the beautiful moment.

The food was absolutely amazing, with every dish showcasing the freshness of the ingredients and meticulous preparation. Ms. Noriko is from Hokkaido, and many of the ingredients were personally sourced by her from there. You can truly feel her passion for her work, which is reflected in the warm and attentive service she provides.

We visited Hiroshima from the United States and decided to book Wine Bar ViVi after hearing about their Wagyu steak course. It turned out to be one of the best dining experiences of our trip. The highlight was definitely the Japanese T-bone steak — perfectly cooked with incredible flavor and tenderness, truly unforgettable.

The English-speaking sommelier made us feel very comfortable and guided us through outstanding wine pairings. We also noticed they offer non-alcoholic pairings, which is a thoughtful option for those who don’t drink.

I had an amazing experience! I visited Wine Bar vivi during my trip to Hiroshima and absolutely fell in love with this place. Noriko-san and Kengo-san were incredibly warm and welcoming — their hospitality made the whole experience feel so personal and memorable.

The vibe of the bar is cozy and intimate, with a calm atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. Honestly, if I had a place like this near my home, I’d be here every Friday night after work, just enjoying a glass of wine alone and unwinding.
