This is the best, Hidden Gem, in Kamakura.
They are only open for breakfast (that's what their restaurant name means - "Asagohan").
Really only locals come here. She opens at 06:30, and closes when the food runs out - usually by 08:30. If you are not seated by 08:30, likely you will be out of luck.
She only has 8 seats at a time.
No music. No TV. It's like being at home with your mother or wife, cooking you the best traditional Japanese breakfast you've ever had.
While sitting, you just hear the ASMR sounds of cooking, and the occasional talk to the customer - which really feels more like a family home.
It's worth waking up early, and traveling here.
Best be prepared, as you will need to speak and read Japanese - or bring someone who does.
This will be one of the most memorable experiences you ever have in Japan.

Be warned, there's absolutely no English here. If you like salmon, order yaki shake (without pronouncing it English). I guess just asking for "salmon" might work, as it's a common word in modern Japanese and there's only one salmon dish on the menu.
