"Bhavan" means "big house" in Hindu. However, this restaurant is relatively small and cozy space. This restaurant serves South Indian cuisine for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Variation of dishes are not so many. Because only the owner cooks dishes.
My favorite dish is Biryani. Especially mutton biryani is a fantastic one. Most of the time, I order the biriyani and half size of non-vegetarian curry, like chicken bindaru. This curry adds spicy flavor to the biryani.
After enjoying delicious Indian dishes, you can try chai. Sugar cane adds mild sweetness to chai.
The owner of this restaurant is a frequent traveler to India for the study of Indian cuisine. So the dishes served here are very close to the original taste. Enjoy. For lunch they had an option between two meat dishes (Keema curry or Goan sausage), a vegetarian main, and biryani. We ordered both the meat dishes and the biriyani. Everything was delicious. The Goan sausage in particular was great.
