Wow, I had the absolute honor of finding this place when I was having an awful day and from the moment I walked in, my mood was lifted and I was welcomed like family. I had the best experience eating at this wonderful shop while doing a sightseeing tour and breaking away from my group. The owner, Kazuro-san is the kindest person and we chatted the whole time which was great for practicing my Japanese (he speaks English too) and he made me feel like I was home visiting a good friend. Even the other customers in the shop chatted freely with me and we enjoyed the food and conversation together despite being strangers. It was so much fun and they were even interested in the music I make and applauded when I played a sample🥹🤣 It's something I know I'll never forget because they made me feel really special. I left this shop making three new friends. I can't wait to go back. The whole shop is just great and the food was amazing!!! I ordered an iced coffee and Kazuro-san ground the beans right there behind the counter and made everything fresh by hand, taking his time and not rushing anything. The taste was off the charts and so refreshing for the sweltering heat of the day. The falafel was also delicious and his homemade cookies are to die for. Everything is 100% Vegan as well. I'm so impressed and honestly, eating here changed the whole rest of my day; I went from being in a lousy mood to being uplifted, happy, and encouraged. Love, love, love this beautiful restaurant. I will definitely be making the trip back here from...
Read moreThe short version: If you are vegeterian, vegan, like Falafel or want a good meal go there. Its awesome. The owner speaks japanese and english. All options are vegan and freshly prepared for you. I had the Falafel sandwich and a lemonade totaling 1200 Yen. It was very tasty. It is Not far from the train station and on the walking path to popular shrines.
The owner is very kind and even gave me some small portion to try sweets. Also had a nice talk with him. He even helped me a little with my unfornately currently bad japanese skills.
Definitly worth a visit!
Thank you for the great food and...
Read moreSmall shop with an owner who is a kind and considerate human being. He's not vegan, yet his shop menu is. I got a large falafel sandwich, a coffee and a cake, which were all attentively prepared and were of a high quality, however the portion sizes are on the small side. And although tasty, and I particularly liked the dill sauce in the sandwich, the food didn't have that wow factor for me. I would definitely come back though, for the kindness of the owner and the quality of the food, and to try other dishes...
