For whatever reason we’d been having a difficult time finding sushi to eat over a few days in Tokyo and we were really craving it. We took a day trip to Kamakura and upon finding Tomoe, all our sushi dreams came true! The Itamae (sushi chefs) were true pros and the service was warm and accommodating. And the sushi was off the charts good - seems fresh out of the ocean and melted in our mouths. Do yourself a favor...

Came here for lunch in April 2025. Tranquil and traditional atmosphere, and good background music. The sushi was of very good quality: rice perfectly cooked, and fresh seafood. The osuimono was very good too, one of the best clams I've had! I would definitely come back! P.S. the menu is in japanese only but you can get around using google lens, no biggie!...
