We were recommended this place by a colleague for coffee and were not disappointed. The owner was so friendly and gave us such a wholesome experience, he manually ground the coffee and brewed filter coffee and added a touch of happiness (sugar!) for a perfect coffee. We also had the fluffy toast and apple jam… delicious!! It really felt like we were in his living room and he was hosting us. So many unique items decorated the cafe and he talk to us about them. Would definitely recommend popping in for a coffee if you’re in the area.

Favourite cup of coffee I've had in Japan. Cafe is a proper old school little place with some very cool Japanese memorabilia hanging around the place. Owner is an absolute legend and you can tell he absolutely loves his craft - has is own coffee blend and he is proud of it! Was extremely friendly and welcoming, despite having limited English. Played classic music in the background on an old school cassette tape. If you're looking for that kinda vibe, get in to this cafe.

found this place wandering around the area of Oyama shrine. My girlfriend and I walked and were greeted by a smile by the owner of this shop.

This man is passionate about coffee and is proud of his shop and tells you about his coffee tools, especially is 100 year old coffee grinder. this is the best simple pour over cup of coffee I’ve had in all of japan. it’s a great cup of coffee. I returned to have more cups the following day. definitely come by and have a cup here and just take the cup of coffee the way the owner recommends you drink it. you...

An absolute gem! Favorite cup of coffee and a wonderful experience. This little cafe is right next to Oyama Shrine. The owner greeted us with a warm smile when we walked in. The interior is quaint and cozy, decorated with a lot of trinkets and memorabilia. We spent a lot of time looking through the stuff. The owner absolutely loves coffee and you can tell.
