I opened the door to an empty Bar. Owner Take jumps and then proceeds to turn me away at 23:58. Posted hours of operation is 16:00 - 1:00. The worst part is he turned me away while it's pouring rain. I walked there looking forward to one drink and got soaked walking back to my hotel feeling frustrated and angry.
This is not Japanese hospitality I expected and totally unacceptable in Canada. Hell! Worldwide this act is deplorable.
I'll help the business edit hour of operations. All days after 23:30 is closed. Monday definitely closed all day.

A kind and dedicated man waits for his visitors with a big smile—Take, the owner, is truly passionate about what he does. He’s proud of his creations and surprisingly skilled at creating friendships and memorable moments using Google Translate, breaking down any language barrier with ease.
The variety of Japanese whiskies is exquisite, as is the selection of local gin and sake, which completes the experience. This is something you cannot miss if you’re visiting this beautiful city.
