Came here on a whim whilst looking for somewhere to eat on our first night in Kanazawa after visiting a lovely wine bar around the corner. Seated downstairs on table and chairs (upstairs has tatami room) we were warmly welcomed with our very limited Japanese phrases. A lovely waitress gave us menus and apologised that there wasn't an English version...we don't mind that and actually often prefer it! Got put Google lens translate and picked random things from the menu for food and drink! The bottle of red wine we had was fabulous but the random long drink spirits we had when lucky dip choosing were all delicious! We enjoyed every morsol of food and appreciated the waitress trying to communicate with us with a mix of English/Japanese and Google translate. The atmosphere was lovely and we had a very enjoyable evening. We would definitely recommend trying here and opting for a lucky...

The preparation of the food is great but what really stands up is the quality of the ingredients itself. Very much suggested!
