Had the bagels here. Decent. Not too badly priced. The mini sized ones and full sized are both nice. It's the same dough. It's NOT like Japanese bagel-shaped fluffy bagels. Proper chewy texture. The flavor isn't so strong. Pumpkin didn't taste much like it. Same with spinach and blueberry. The white and black sesame seed plain bagel was nice but again, not very pronounced flavor. Maybe they should use some flour with more flavor... The service was normal. Not really friendly nor unfriendly. Pictured in my hand is a mini bagel, part of a 3 bag set.

I love bagels and Vanitoy has an incredible selection of old favorites, Japanese flavors, and suprising twists (Earl Grey bagel, anyone?). They also make coffee and tea. If you get there by midday they'll have a mystery grab bag of day old bagels for 500 yen. This location is a bit smaller than their main shop over in the Coedo area of town but it doesn't disappoint.

We’ve had bagels all over the world, and none have ever come close to Vanitoy. The unique combination of flavors are always surprising and delightful, and the texture is just incredibly chewy and light. This is our first stop in Japan...
