甚八 — Restaurant in Kumamoto

This was the most delightful meal I’ve had in Japan ever. Not only was the sushi so fresh and delicious, you can tell that it was so lovingly prepared by the chef and staff. Everyone was so warm and friendly… it was so so lovely. I especially loved the miso soup and the cucumber+anago maki. Honestly if I ever come to Kumamoto again, I would definitely drop by again. It was home away...

Absolutely incredible. Food was delicious, service was impeccable, the people working (husband and wife I assume) were extremely kind and hospitable. It really doesn’t get better than this. Ambience was great as well. Soft jazz playing in the background....

今日も安定の美味さ

間違いない

二十代半ば通ってる、もう二十年以上。寿司が旨いって思ったのもここが最初。 旧３号線にポツンとあるから知らない人は入りにくいだろう。 確かに郊外で安いとは言わない。でも良いものを出してくれる、街なら地代も乗せないと 街ならもっと高くてもいいくらい。 あんまり教えたくない店。教えると大将も困るから、すいません。 なぜかというとご夫婦でされており、常連さんに迷惑かけたく無いとの思いがあられるから。 特に年末の太巻き（アナゴ入り）は絶品。多分新規では買えないかな。 正月は毎年２～３個いろんなおせちを買っているけど、一番人気。おせちは残ってもこれは足りない位

おせちだけで１０～１５万使うの、毎年おせちはやめようかと話す始末 まあ形だけはおせち無いといけないから。

気さくなおじちゃんとおばちゃんだから安心して入れるよ！
