Capricciosa — Restaurant in Kumamoto

Tasty food and good service from our server, but the kitchen is very inflexible.

Their prosciutto pizza comes without tomatoes sauce, for some weird reason (I’m half Italian, I’d know) and they would not accommodate either a margarita with prosciutto, nor a prosciutto with tomato sauce 🥴

My friend really enjoyed their corn soup. The lasagna was tasty, but definitely not traditional layered lasagna, more like a soup composed of lasagna ingredients.

Food was prepared fast.

Traveling with mom and searching for a light meal. Capricciosa’s pasta is very al dente with a great taste. Even without having a set, you can still enjoy one self served hot coffee for free. The ice cream served with a hot blueberry sauce that makes it an excellent dessert. Most importantly the price is cheap from my point of view, really worth it.

3000-4000 yen is for 2 people with 2 main dishes , 1 soft drinks...

To be honest, the quality is too similar to Saizeriya to be double the price. Eggplant pasta has 3 small pieces of eggplant. Ajillo had hardly any mushroom. Pasta was kind of bland. I can't...
