The food was delicious, it's almost a must try if u never have horse meat before. Two of us went at lunch, the place looks fancy, majority ppl have smart casual on.
However, I did give it perfect because of serving style. They didn't have english menu (I get it, we should have learn Japanese, its not their fault) but the server went away so quickly before we can even ask any questions (not appearing to be that busy in the restaurant), and they other wise only swing by to give us our food. There was a button u can press and they were very responsive to it, but otherwise you are pretty much on your own.
Main point deduction came from at the end, the manager/owner at the cashier shows ZERO hospitality when we were paying which I found somewhat awkward in such a nice resturant and in Japan. I ended up spending over 5000 yen, including a 500 yen extra charge for the seat, which is the very first time I experience after 4 trips to Japan. For such a price I was expecting a bit more food or, at least, feeling more welcome. I left a bit...
Read moreI didn't have incredibly good impression towards horse meat originally because when I was young I had tried that with my family and I remembered it wasn't that good. But my experience here changed my mind totally! From sashimi to barbeque, they served us with delicious food. Spot on!
You can only say that you don't like horse meat after you try these here! The texture is better than beef. And they serve you with quality similar to those in Iceland! Amazing.
I'll definitely come back for the steamed horse...
