FOREIGNERS BEWARE EXTRA CHARGES IMPOSED WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE

Food was mediocre, service was HORRIBLE. We requested for refill for our teas and were not served. The waiters were not friendly at all and refused to communicate with us. We were only told to refer to a tablet everytime we asked them for assistance. Not only that, we were being charged extra ¥429 PER PERSON as a so called "coverage charge" and it wasn't stated at the entrance of the restaurant or at our seated table, which is ridiculous. The signage of the nonsensical charges is only visible at the cashier counter and it's exclusively stated in foreign languages. So,...

Food quality not quiet good compare to my expectation….. and price….

Poor service I never ever feeling like this before in Japan . First staff we met at the door was so rude, I understand about language but do not acting like we here for free food…

Luckily this restaurant is close to the center and nice room for private…..table nice...

Worst izakaya in Kasatsu onsen. The rude waiter with poor service that threw dishes on table. Low quality seafood. Despite paying a cover charge of ¥484 per person, impatient with foreigners who could not communicate in Japanese.
