To be honest, the room was quite satisfactory and there wasn't much problem, but it was all stairs and there was no elevator! Fortunately, the floor is not that high! Carry your luggage up and down by yourself! However, the configuration is very poor! The hardware and software are not of the standard of a top-1 hot spring hotel.1: There is no open-air bath in the hot spring hotel, and the hot spring bathing area does not provide towels, no skin care products, only shower caps, combs, makeup remover cotton, and hair dryers! Inside are Dove toiletries! The space is very small2: No post-bath refreshments! Ramen charges!3: Dinner is actually outsourced to other hotels. What can we eat for 350 RMB? Really unworthy! I don’t know who gave the difference in price? Don’t sell catering prices if you don’t have catering standards4: It can clearly indicate that it has no catering capabilities, but it has to provide you with lettuce, sausage, onion soup, and meal kits for a fee? Is this the worst breakfast I've ever had at a hot spring hotel?5: Is this kind of hotel selling at this kind of price? Not worthy of even a fractionThe most unacceptable thing is that even if you arrive at the station in the dark, the hotel will not pick you up, and the car that asks for help will not even ask for service! Very arrogant and rude. Ctrip helped communicate for a long time and negotiated for more than an hour. In the end, it only said that the guest could find a way to outsource the dinner to the hotel. Can he consider picking him up there? In fact, there is a shuttle bus to and from the hot spring street for free for outsourced dinners! The problem is that Gunma Otsu, an unmanned station, has no village in front of it, no shops in the back, and no public service vehicles. It’s so inoperable! Even if the local people kindly contacted the hotel to explain the situation to me, the hotel was unmoved and insisted that I find a way to get there on my own! And we have repeatedly emphasized that dinner ends after 20:00 and no takeout is provided! In the end, a kind local person sent me there. No refreshments were provided for check-in, and no apology was made! Can't understand!Blacklist, lightning protectionIn the end, although Ctrip customer service did not solve the problem, they still responded to all my questions! And they also provide compensation. It's not advertising. If you encounter this kind of problem, this kind of platform has a guarantee point, and you can at least complain and...
Read moreVery closed to the bus station, which was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is building with old architecture, but with modern updates. It was an easy check-in process. Our room was really nice and spacious. The room was clean, but my blank had a small stain on the blanket. The wifi is really good. There is a public onsen on the lower floor for guests to enjoy. We reserved a 45 mins private onsen for 3200 yen. It was well worth it! The room was roomy and clean. It has a private shower and bathroom. The we enjoyed our private onsen. Very relaxing. Highly recommend. Some tips. Don't walk in the hotel with your shoes or sneakers. There are sandals that you can walk outside the streets with. It's located in the lockers with the keys when you entered the hotel. If you want to walk around the hotel you can walk with your socks or the staff can you give a sandals. Breakfast is a buffet. Limited selections, and you have to make a time slot rsvp. They bar closed around 10pm. We loved our one night stayed. We would...
Read moreThis is a great hot spring hotel with excellent customer service and rooms. We've been here a handful of times, first staying overnight in room with a private onsen bath, and a few other times renting the private bath for 45 minute periods. The entire hotel is clean and relaxing, and the baths made our bodies feel like jelly. The morning breakfast is fair, I don't think it's deserving of the complaints I've seen in other reviews, but it could be a bit bigger I think. I highly recommend staying in a room with a private bath. I recommend booking for 2+ days so you can enjoy the private bath longer, especially during the cooler months. If you're only in Kusatsu for a day trip and have tattoos and/or don't like public onsens, I recommend booking a private bath for 45 or 90 minutes. It's a little expensive, but the bath is so nice and private with all necessary amenities, I think it's worth the price. This is where I will book a private onsen every time I...
