I would say this place is perfect! Very close to bus terminal, and also very close to the main spot, Yubatake. It is cheap compared to other place with strategic location. You won't get full course breakfast or a private shower, but they serve light breakfast with public shower & onsen (which I personally choose onsen anytime). There is no stairs, but they will help you lift your luggage up and down. They also provide crocs and boots for you to walk around the town, very handy especially if you want to take a dip at the foot bath near Yubatake. The room is also very spacious with big beds. The receptionist also talks in english, which helps the check in process. They have complimentary drinks and popsicles that you can take anytime. Read moreVery strategically located such that it’s close to the Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal as well as Yubatake. Room is very spacious and well-ventilated (the room is not equipped with air conditioning, instead a cooling fan that collects cool air from the outside and requires the constant opening of a window). Women onsen is a bit small and limited to four people at any one time but it is open 24/7 so very often you can have the entire onsen to yourself. Light breakfast is included and very minimal but that’s ok because a fancier meal would’ve just added to the cost. Coined washing machine is available on-site but there is no drying machine. Tap water is drinkable plus hot water, tea and coffee are available in the lounge lobby for free. Overall a cozy and comfortable stay and given the proximity to everything relevant, I would highly...

There’s a little misunderstanding on room arrangement, though with a little language barrier it was resolved quite quickly after staff (think he’s the owner) clarified with Expedia. ||Unexpectedly sumptuous buffet breakfast provided for free in the morning, although it was stated a “simple breakfast”.||||they have a baby stroller for rent, hiking sticks as well.( not sure fee needed).||||Separate gender onsen provided at basement. Amenities are provided, even sanitary pads for ladies. ||||Although the morning is up...
