This was a dining experience I will remember for the rest of my life. The food was meticulously prepared, and included many complex components that themselves take hours of preparation. Then, the chef and his helper assembled them before our eyes. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and the decor of the restaurant is in my favorite style. Each dish was assembled like a piece of art and watching them work was like watching an artist. Of course, by this point I have to mention that the taste was amazing and showed the true talent of the chef. My favorite dish was the "swan," which in addition to having interesting flavors, was a very emotional dish to look at. It was difficult to eat such a beautiful thing. I am a dessert lover and I recommend this restaurant highly to anyone who wants to enjoy an amazing dessert experience that I have not experienced anywhere else. A note for those who do not speak Japanese, the chef had a tablet prepared with descriptions that he wrote ahead of time, and as he was explaining each dish in Japanese, he would load the description into Google translate and place the explanation in front of us in English. When we arrived to order dessert at about 9pm (3x tiramisu, ¥3,000) we were told that "we had to also order compulsory drinks as well, for our order to have service tax excluded". When we said we didn't want drinks (¥1,000 for the cheapest drinks) but would be happy to pay service tax (~ ¥500), we were told we had to buy drinks.
