This cafe is a very short walk from the Golden Gate Temple; not on the Main Street where all the tourists are. First support this little local business who is owned by the sweetest and kindest couple. They served pound cake with black beans and a really light castella cake which is surprising as it is usually a more dense Japanese cake. The atmosphere was wonderful. It is a hole in the wall, away from the hustle and bustle. If you prefer some quietness or just to read a book with a little afternoon tea, Bean’s Goody is perfect.
