We just finished visiting Ginkakuji and wanted to grab a bite. This restaurant is on the street leading to the temple, so it's in a great spot if you're visiting.
The interior is very charming, there are regular tables and a Japanese-style tatami seating area. We chose a regular table due to me having bad knees.
The service is fast and very kind. We had the "kamo donburi", (roast duck breast slices with scrambled egg on rice) and a katsu curry. Food was served rather fast and it was delicious! Portion sizes are good and the price was very affordable.
