We tried visiting this place during business hour, the light was on and the door was shut, there was no indication of it being closed. I tried open the door and it didn’t move, so I thought they were closed and was about to leave. Then I heard somebody moving the door inside, which made me think that somebody was coming out to greet me, so I tried to open the door again, and heard a loud “No!!!”
I totally understand if your restaurant is full and not capable of taking new customers, but could you maybe just say that instead of yelling at me?

Read moreI was recommended this restaurant by Asahido, the owner of the pottery shop by the same name in Gion. Harisei is traditional kaiseki style and everything we had was phenomenal. The service, food, dishes, decorations, and presentation were outstanding. Our server, Rei, was trained at a traditional tea ceremony school and was fluent in French and very good with English.
