This was a cute little ramen restaurant we randomly found as we were walking around the area. The staff was friendly, the menu was simple and easy to figure out, and we had some pretty amazing ramen bowls. They were simple, no gimmicks or fancy topping, just unpretentious, warm, delicious, tasty, the exact perfect thing to eat while it's raining kind of fulfilling ramen. Found this ramen restaurant after visiting the Heian Shrine and shopping at the awesome weekend market. Very limited menu, but oh so delicious! After my son insisted he wasn't hungry and didn't order anything, he was slurping half my bowl down after trying one bite! We all got the pork ramen and loved it. They only serve ice water. We were the only Americans in the restaurant which is generally a...

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and lovely. The ramen is the best I've tasted in Kyoto. The atmosphere is simply the best, and even as a foreigner, you can feel at home. Recommend...

The staff was friendly, the menu was simple and easy to figure out, and we had some pretty amazing ramen bowls. They were simple, no gimmicks or fancy topping, just unpretentious, warm, delicious, tasty, the exact perfect thing to eat while it's raining kind of fulfilling ramen. If you happen to be in the area and that kind of thing sounds good to you, this ramen will definitely hit that spot!
