Higashiyama Cube — Attraction in Kyoto

It's an extension of the Main Heritage museum. A little confusing getting to the entrance. Not many signs. We went up to the second floor deck to go down again to a main hall in the old building. To cross back to the new addition. Yes a bit complicated.

We couldn't pass a visit to see Yayaoi's work. The cube space was a typical gallery space and wasn't as crowded as the main museum. We got to see work that we were not familiar with, so that was a treat.

I'd suggest walking around the neighborhood and getting lunch at Tan, we didn't plan ahead so we're not able to get a table. We jumped in a cab when we left and saw a couple of cute pottery shops. Next time I'm in the area I'd definitely walk around and explore.
