Not many knows about this Kyoto-style trattoria, distant from tourist attractions, mostly serving the neighbors and foodies lucky enough to find this joint. The menu changes frequently and they all feature rich flavors from the ingredients, yet elegantly balanced, hence "Kyoto-style." The specialty dishes are roasted game meats (such as venison, wild boar, and duck) paired with house made mustard sauce with seasonal fruits, such as apple or fig. The menu is all in Japanese and the chef does not speak foreign language but you can now order Omakase from ¥5,000 per person.
