Came upon this place by accident and was probably the best accident to happen. Insanely good prices probably the best we have experienced in our Japan trip (We only paid about 6500 Yen) and portions are perfect. The service was also great as the staff would give recommendations and the food arrived quite fast. In addition it’s directly in front of the station so I would definitely recommend...

The food variety is huge and you can order either yaki mono by pieces or Nabe set with add-on options. There was sushi as well, but we didn't order that.

It can get quite busy on Friday evening, so either come early...

Had our first meal here after arriving in Kyoto. It feels like a very authentic Japanese Izakaya to me. The food tastes very good and the service is attentive and fast. The food variety is huge and you can order either yaki mono by pieces or Nabe set with add-on options. There was sushi as well, but we didn't order that. It can get quite busy on Friday evening, so either come early or come late.
