To start with lovely location, right across the Nijo station, can't be missed. The guys serving/tending and the cook were good and polite. The Atmos inside is that of a friendly neighborhood joint. Now, the flipside. Ordered a Carbonara in white/cheese sauce, less chesse/sauce for my taste. Could have lived with that but the meat in it could be counted on fingers even though it was kind of shredded. Major put off. They charged me 300 yen for bread service which was just 1 small, tiny bit of piece and that too neither warm nor served with olive oil/butter till i asked for. Took a red wine which might be the only saving grace. Will skip the restaurant if I have other options. Honestly not worth 3000+ yen when you asked a tourist can steal a bomb from 7-11 eleven across the road. I know different cuisine, unrelated comparison but it's about worth for money...

we just finished 2 plates of pasta, 3 drinks and we are already thinking about coming back here tonight
all 3 chefs are amazing the food is 100000/10 (i’m saying as a person who has been to Italy more than 20 times and constantly eats italian cuisine)
