I was at Kitsune Kyoto last night partying all night, arriving there at 9 pm because I had brought some members of InterNations which is an international expat community. Our members want to experience Japan’s nightlife.
The 4th floor was having a crazy fun party atmosphere the whole nite. We took many picture.
The 3rd floor was more down to earth 😂 but it did have its crazy fun moments from time to time. I know it because I was going from floor to floor all night making sure my guests were having fun. And they were.
Occasionally, I grabbed some food from the buffet on the 2nd floor, orange slices were my favorite. This floor has a bar-like atmosphere, (if they can lower the music on that floor a tiny little bit until 2 or 3 am that would be even perfect, it would be like ‘a bar within the night club’ where you can chat for hours. I find most of the bars in Japan, quite noisy, they should decide if they want to be a bar or a night club. )
Around 3 am we were about to head back home so we were passing by the 2nd floor again, for the exit, but we couldn’t go home, we were drawn back 😂there was a totally different type of party going on in there where the male DJ would talk through his microphone creating a warmer, friendlier atmosphere. He did it with a female DJ, I personally enjoyed watching her because we don’t get to see many female DJs around.
The club was closing at 5am but a sweet Spanish tourist brought me a drink at 4:55 which I couldn’t drink because I had already had enough😂
Over all, it was a...

I am a foreigner travelling through Japan with a friend. We decided to give this club a shot after reading about it on the web. We had a great time as the club had a nice vibe and it was miraculously very busy for a random tuesday night. After a couple of hours in I went at the bartender to order some drinks, I handed him 11.000¥ in cash (a 10.000¥ note plus a 1.000¥ one) and I waited for the change. The bartender put my money in the cash register (mixing it with the other notes he had in there) and then handed me change for 2.000¥ instead of my 11.000¥.
I tried to point out to him several times that the change was wrong, the guy ignored me and stared at the void without saying a word until I finally gave up and went away.
I was tremendously disappointed by this episode as I have visited many bars and clubs in the area and I have always found caring and attentive staff. I truly hope that the mistake was in good faith.
I suggest anyone visiting to pay with card whenever possible and to pay attention to the change you’re receiving, especially during busy nights. That said, enjoy Kitsune and have...
Read moreI'm UNABLE to give ZERO star. Went there on a Friday, asked if we could go outside and まいけるさん, a staff pointed at a sign that was poorly translated and said it was ok to go. Firstly, that sign makes no sense, neither the rules. When we came back in, we were told to pay 700yen for a drink ticket. Why pay for a drink ticket at the entrance when we had already paid an entrance fee (¥1000?) WE ARE ABLE TO PAY IT! We are not angry at the cost, just the situation. But rubbish is rubbish! What is the difference between getting a drink ticket at the front and going straight to the bar for one? Why do we need to get it at the front after re-entry? We never used the previous drink ticket nor partied.
It was after long deliberation with the manager, he told us it's ok to go inside. He understood us and we appreciated that.
Come on guys, people will buy drinks when they are respected and happy in a club. Don't make it hard for your customers and please get someone to do translations for the signs. Another thing, start checking bags and stuff before some of those people...
