Dear LOFT KYOTO Manager, you need to train your staff better than this…
The guy staff on the 6th floor with blonde hair was my cashier. Once he finished beeping all my things and told me the total amount, I took my phone out and took a photo of the price on the screen. He immediately told me “you are not allowed to take photos” I couldn’t hear him well so I asked him to repeat again, I said “sorry?”
He then repeated what he said with his teeth gridding low deep voice “YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTOS HERE!!!” It sounded like if he could shout at me he would have done it. I replied him “sorry” and left the cashier confusing…
I was stunned and mad later. Maybe it’s really wrong to take photo there but you could inform your customer nicely.
This action of him speaks so loud that he is not well trained(uneducated). If he doesn’t know that this is a bad attitude of his then he will stay a cashier guy forever. I hope you get to read this, Good Luck

I wanted to share my recent experience at LOFT KYOTO today, which left me quite disappointed.
At the payment counter, after completing my purchase and moving to the tax refund process, the staff placed the items in the tax refund bag without any interaction. She accidentally dropped the pen I had just bought—it made a very loud sound—but there was no apology or acknowledgment at all. She simply picked it up with an indifferent attitude, showing no concern about potential damage to my purchase.
The same staff member then handled the tax refund. She tossed the money onto the tray without saying a word and simply walked away.
(( This staff member was a woman with short blonde hair. ))
I left feeling quite disrespected, and I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.
Thanks.
Best...
Read moreOne staff member here was so rude. I was looking to buy a backpack, found one I liked, and brought it over to the checkout counter. The guy asked "Where did you get this?", which I was confused by - like, in the bag section of this shop, where else would I have got it? I said that and pointed towards the bag section, but apparently he didn't like my answer - he just repeated the question louder this time. This went on for some time, with him becoming increasingly aggressive, until another staff member came over to help. The first guy was acting like we were in a museum and I had lifted an ancient artifact trying to buy it. It felt like he thought I was trying to steal it... by bringing it to the cashier?? Maybe the staff at other branches are nicer, who knows, but don't expect good customer...
