Waka Kimono Rental Kiyomizu — Local services in Kyoto

I am sorry to share that I am disappointed. The promises are till you pay. I have arrived at the store at 16:20 to check out the kimono models and possibly book for the next day as it was getting late. The ladies were very kind. I chose a kimono and they assured me that I had enough time for the day. I paid 285 euros for the kimono, hair, makeup and the shop photographer (no discount). Suddenly they started rushing and I ended up with sloppy makeup. The photographer came at 17:15 and took us through few streets where he took pictures of me. At the end we had to take a taxi back and were at the store at 18:20. The agreemet was that the photographer will send us raw photos and I will choose 9, so he will work on them - light etc. After 7 weeks and many emails I do have a bunch of photos which I do not like, I do not even have a full length photo, other people on the pictures etc. PS: I have paid 130 euros just for your photographer and I am disappointed. I would not risk paying for your kimono services a second time, even if the photographer is free. We really liked how kind and helpful they are at this rental store. We just walked in without an appointment. Very walkable to both the pagoda and kiyomisu dera but we didn’t go to the latter because were with a child.
