One of our highlights in Kyoto! The food and drinks were delicious and of very high standards. When I travel, instead of looking for touristy tours or experiences, I prefer to make friends with the locals — and this pizza restaurant welcomed us with open arms. They treated us like friends, not just customers. The team here gave us such an incredible and warm welcome that enjoying their delicious pizza became one of the main highlights of our Kyoto visit. The staff were incredibly cute and welcoming, and even came outside to say goodnight to us as we left. We were finding it hard to get a good restaurant without a booking in Kyoto, and we walked right into this one with no problems as it's so new. Worth a try!

I highly recommend this new location of Pizza Strada in Kyoto. I’d go as far as to say it’s the best pizza in Kyoto. I highly recommend the Genovese Pesto pizza. I used to frequent the one in Azabu, Tokyo. This new location has an atmosphere that is incomparable to the other location with a modern Japanese Style architecture. You can taste the quality of the ingredients in each dish. Although a bit on the pricier end, it’s worth a visit for the experience and flavors. They have just opened this week so operations is still in the works… But the service is still amazing.

I highly recommend this new location of Pizza Strada in Kyoto. I’d go as far as to say it’s the best pizza in Kyoto. I highly recommend the Genovese Pesto pizza. One of our highlights in Kyoto!

The team here gave us such an incredible and warm welcome that enjoying their delicious pizza became one of the main highlights of our Kyoto visit. Toshi is an excellent pizza master, and his staff is exceptionally kind.

Found this place walking around Gion on a chilly Kyoto evening, and so glad for it! The servers are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. The chef prepares the pizza in front of you if you get the counter seating, and you get to have it straight out of the oven. The mozzarella Margherita pizza I ordered was hot, thin, crisp and tasted fresh - in short, a perfect pizza.
