tldr: expensive, not a lot of food, subpar food, kind of slow. I wanted to like the place but came out disappointed and regretful that it wasn’t better. We got there just a little after when it opened and there were other people eating so I had high hopes. It was pretty easy to order bc there’s an English menu. The food itself took a bit, not super long but leisurely lol. Service overall was not horrible but kind of awkward to get the attention of the one lady servicing everyone. We got the wakasa lunch set and a sushi set. The food itself was not bad but very subpar. The rice itself wasn’t exceptional, like it wasn’t seasoned well nor was the texture good, and there was a lot of rice bc it was so compressed. The fish was ok, like not well cut nor delicious. If anything, the unagi sushi was good. Soup was meh—light dashi broth. It wasn’t a lot of food either. We spent a little under 5000Y for 2 people for lunch. Yea it’s food and we ate it and wasn’t hungry anymore, but I definitely felt like we could have had a better meal or at least a better value...

This is the place to go if you want delicious food for a very reasonable price (I ate a good amount of food and split a bottle of sake for about $30). I can't imagine a sushi dinner with service that good for a...

I recently stumbled upon this place, and completely exceeded my expectations. The setting itself is a truly authentic Japanese family owned restaurant with a couple managing it on their own.
The location is a little remote where you can easily find parking nearby ar a cost of 330 yen per 20 mins.
The owner clearly has perfect sense of taste while creating a welcoming atmosphere. The service lady has been exceptionally nice as well.
Their warmth and hospitality...
