Eating beef tongue might sound weird at first. However, after trying them once, I fell in love. This restaurant is located inside the AEON Mall Kyoto, which is conveniently located in front of the Kyoto train station! The place was pretty clean and cozy. Customer service was also great here!
Food:
No. 14 (Thick sliced salt-grilled beef tongue) (10/10): This was my favorite dish of the day. If beef tongue aren't properly cooked, they might be really hard to chew. However, that weren't case with this one! The meat was tender and mildly chewy. The seasoning on this dish was just right. I enjoyed every single bite. Totally recommended!
No.15 (Grilled Beef Skirt Steak) (10/10): This dish was also delicious! They were really juicy and seasoned well! It was so good, I could probably eat 2 plates of these amazing steak!
No.16 (Mini Beef Tongue Stew) (8.5/10): This dish was definitely tasty as well! The only reason why it wasn't a 10 for me is because I thought the seasoning wasn't salty enough. Nevertheless, my girlfriend loved it more than I did!
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves beef!

(sweet potato rice was available as a separate option). The beef tongue was overcooked and hard, probably because it was too thin. In the Kanto region, there is a chain restaurant called Negishi, but not in the Kansai region, and I wondered if the quality was like this.
The food didn't look good, so I didn't take...
