Bandai Namco Cross Store Kyoto — Attraction in Kyoto

I've been to a lot of crane game arcades throughout my visit to Japan. A lot of them you can at least win some stuff from no matter how bad you are at crane games, but definitely not this one. This has been by far the worst arcade experience I've had. While being aware that most crane games are rigged, this place is probably on another level. Weak as wet spaghetti claws, sticky tapes all over, and constant resetting by the staff every minute. While it is good to have fun with a few hundred yens occasionally, don't get too hung up on winning something as you'll probably just end up losing ten thousands of yens with nothing to take away but massive disappointment. Feel free to visit but keep your hands taped...

Many music, GUNDAM and loads, LOADS OF CRANE MACHINES to bore yourself out to death (They have the SOUND VORTEX EXTREME GEAR arcade from BEMANI/KONAMI but no Beatmania IIDX 30 RESIDENT LIGHTNING CABINET machines...)

The negative point for the 4 stars is that THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD SCARLET DAWN arcade costs 200Y FOR ONE PLAY while other arcades WITH THE SAME Nimo card function ONLY 100Y !!!

Other than that, a good time killer for such a BURNING AREA in Kyoto...Bring tons of water, an umbrella, etc...Nice mall too but...

Awesome place in the shopping centre only a small walk from the kyoto train station, located on the 4th floor, also has a food court and cinema on 5th floor nearby, change machine takes 1000yen notes, and 5000, 10000 yen notes will be broken down to smaller notes ( example put in 5000 yen you get 4×1000 yen notes back and change in 100yen coins) not that difficult to get extra

Would reccomend good selection of games ans cheap bana pass and aime cards...
