The Best Karaoke Bar Experience of My Life – A Must-Visit in Japan!
As a professional performer and singer, I’ve experienced a lot of karaoke bars around the world—but this place stands out like no other. It’s more than just a bar, it’s a second home.
From the moment I walked in alone, I felt welcomed, safe, and truly seen. The owner, Raja is a gem of a human being. He’s not in it just for the money—he genuinely cares about people, about joy, and about building a community. His passion for music and connection shines through everything he does.
The vibe is electric yet warm, and the drinks are top quality. You’ll meet people from all over the world here—many of whom keep coming back every time they’re in Japan, just like I will. This bar brings out the best in people, whether you’re a seasoned performer or just someone looking to have fun.
It was the best time I’ve ever had at a karaoke bar—hands down. If you’re in Japan, do not miss out on this magical spot. And when you go, make sure to say hi to Raja .He’s the heart and soul of this unforgettable place.thank you...

And stumble out of, 7.5 hours later, dazed, euphoric, and possibly hoarse from scream-singing “Bohemian Rhapsody” with a stranger from Netherlands.
From the moment we walked in, Raja greeted us like old friends. This man is the soul of the bar. I’m convinced he runs on joy, high notes, and tequila.
The place is a kaleidoscope of languages, laughter, and borderline-offensive renditions of 90s hits. English? Japanese? Korean? Interpretive screaming? Doesn’t matter. Everyone understood the universal language of bad singing and good vibes.
We came for “a couple of songs” and left almost 8 hours later, spiritually changed and vocally destroyed.
The drinks kept flowing, the mics never cooled, and not once did we feel like outsiders. By hour two, we were part of the Share...
Read moreGreat bar for drinks, hot snacks and friendly company! Fantastic place for locals and foreigners. I'm from the UK and I was on holiday in Japan. I found this place on my last evening in Kyoto and had a great time hanging out with the owner (Raja) and a local Japanese guy. Raja speaks English (and Japanese of course) and he was very generous with complimentary drinks and giving me some tasters for free. He made me feel very welcome and it was a highlight of the holiday. I didn't take many photos (too busy drinking) but I've attached a photo of a whiskey I particularly enjoyed. I definitely recommend this place if you want to hang out in a small and cosy bar!
Finding it: Head upstairs where you see the Share Happiness poster at street level. There were fairy lights guiding me upstairs and along a corridor when I visited.
Other info: It looks like it has seating for about 12 people. It has music playing on a tv which you are free to change tracks or ask for requests...
