As a Texan who has lived in Mexico, I just had to try Tacos in Japan to see the interpretation. I was not at all disappointed. Keita was amazing, helping me decide what to try and honoring my poor Japanese. We had great fun talking and passing the time, but you’re not here just for the vibes, we gotta talk about the Tacos!

I tried 5 different Tacos, Beef (similar to an Asada), Chicken, Pork, Vegetable and Chile con Carne. Hands down, the pork was delicious and my favorite, but all were flavorful, seasoned well and fresh. The tortillas were soft but strong, and the salsa flavorful, not very spicy, but added a nice kick. They were simple to the point and I was more then pleased by the offerings. It is a Standing Taco Bar and had a nice ambience and plenty of Tequila if that is your thing. I also saw a young Mezcal on the shelf if you want smoky and smooth to go with your tacos. They have a nicely curated collection of alcohol which pairs well with the experience.

It isn’t Mexico, it’s Japan’s take on delicious Mexican food but it was not lacking anything and is absolutely...

Cool little spot for good tacos. Would recommend to a friend looking for a change from traditional Japanese food.

Cocktails, soda, and a couple of different beers to choose from. Really nice owner that made boring meat and cheese only tacos for my picky kid. We went back for a second order after finishing our first round.

Found this near my hotel and saw the strong rating so went to check it out. Yummy! The Japanese twist is here (some sort of seaweed sprinkled into the guac?), and tacos were legit.

You can tell tortillas and sauces are made in house. We got pretty much all the tacos - liked the saucier ones best (pork 👌) but they were all good.

Couple of notes:

  1. upstairs is the overflow area (bottom bar area only fits maybe 4 or 5 people) and there's no stools. Space is tight, so I get it, but if your feet are tired, be advised.
  2. the steak taco meat is unusually large chunks of beef. I liked it, the kid got seconds, but wife wasn't super into it.
  3. I'll be back for a craft beer and spicy taco snack for sure before...

Have to give a solid 3 stars. It was just alright.

Long wait before and after the food.

Actual service was standard, so i guess thats okay.

Now the food, i wanna start off by saying im from Northern california where the burritos & Mexican food cannot be beaten, Its delicious!

so maybe this taste is not what I’m accustomed too. A “ beef burrito” is a steak burrito! But here it was ground beef so I’m confused. It wasnt that good.

Furthermore the details are not clear on what comes on the burrito, so u might not know what to tell them to take off!

To be fair it DID have some sort of authentic type of Spanish taste! like i said though it wasnt what im used too. Their red sauce was good!

For those who want to try burritos i dont think this is a good introduction! Come to northern...
