TOFU CAFE FUJINO — Restaurant in Kyoto

We were very disappointed when we arrived at 5:25pm and were told that the cafe was closed. However, when we decided to buy a few tofu things in the store, the woman working there was sweet enough to give us a warm soy milk and honey drink for free!! She even brought us soy sauce to enjoy with our tofu, cups of coffee and another saucy dessert tofu because she felt bad that the cafe wasn't open. Delicious food. A nice light lunch from the present menu, we tired both the soft tofu over rice and the deep fried tofu over rice, the miso with tofu in it was the best we’ve had yet. The dessert tofu was great, the mousse with red bean was great and the soft serve amazing. My 11 year old loved the brownie and the sweet tofu dessert. We were not very hungry because the weather was recently hot (over 35degC) and didn't have any breakfast.

We decided to have sth light with tofu for the lunch, and it was delicious. The parfait, based on tofu again, was something i found very creative and it fits unexpectedly very well with the sweetness.
