They have a decent selection of popular sake and other alcoholic beverages to chose from. They have private rooms which are adorable and i'd recommend booking ahead to secure one which also have cost hangers if you're coming out of the weather.

They have some waitresses who have excellent English so there won't be any language barriers if you can speak english or Japanese.

The stewed pork was falling apart alongside two perfectly boiled eggs. Something I'm learning Japan is exceptionally good at. The broth was salty and rich.

The Wagyu was very fatty and juicy. Quite a bold flavour as well for a cheaper Wagyu and a must try for the price.

The hakone is one of their most popular dishes, and I can see why. The chef here is obviously very used to this fish. Perfectly seasoned and so juicy. Easily the best pick for me.

Three stars for the food, but none for the service.

My boyfriend and I walked in for a birthday treat, but we didn’t feel respected. Two staff members assumed we didn’t understand Japanese and openly whispered about our “strange” behavior and accent—loudly enough for us to hear—which was incredibly rude. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.
