Yayoiken Gojo Karasuma — Restaurant in Kyoto

I have never ever seem such bad service before.

This morning I got into this restaurant going to to enjoy my happy holyday breakfrest with my family. But the impolite waitress destroy my 'good morning' completely.

When i got into the restaurant the waitress shout to me 'place the order at vendor machine first' , Ok fine,i reply her that 'my wife is placing the order already'.

2.My kid is small and he is hard to get to the other end of the bench. So he is kneel on the bench try to reach his seat. As we teach never step on the chair with shoses. The waitress shout to my kid 'Not shose!' with cold and angry voice.

My wife need some warm water to take medicine. So I ask 'Can I have some warm water please?' She just reply me 'No!' without explanation. But i saw there is a electronic water boiler at the self service corner. I just wondering why she don't just said 'u can get it at the self service corner.'?

Yayoiken is one of my favorite Japanese food chain restaurants in Japan. They serve standard, good quality and tasty food, and have very diverse menu compared to other similar chain restaurants. When other chains quite often specialize in only one or two things and might have a lot of different variants of the same dishes, Yayoiken offers a bit more larger variety of different dish types. The price is also affordable. In addition, if your meal contains basic white rice served in a separate bowl, you can always get a refill. The price for breakfast is great with free rice refills. The waitress, working alone in the morning, was very friendly. The breakfast itself is underwhelming but filling. I took the clam misosoup for a 100 Yen surcharge, sadly the soup was overly salty and there was a broken clamshell inside. The grilled salmon was heavily salted as well and the cut of my piece was weird (with a large bone), but to be fair, the other pieces i saw looked nice.
