Open — Restaurant in Kyoto

Come here everytime I come to Kyoto. If you don't like the fact that in these old diner cafes you can still smoke indoors then this is not the place for you. But even though I don't smoke in here it's really nostalgic, especially with the 50's/ 60's soundtracks playing softly over head. Food is as simple as you can get but it is done amazingly well. The owners are super cute and sweet too. Love this...

Super classic and local lunch restaurant in this community, a lotta people came to have their lunch in rest time. Price is totally reasonable. It’s easy to find out, which is located in the bottom of an apartment. You can get the newspaper for leisure. Incredibly sweet owner, very solid breakfast with fair prices (we paid 5€ for breakfast with coffee) and the vibe is special- locals come here to read the newspaper, everyone knows each other. A place with a lot of charisma outside of bougie tourist cafes that I can’t recommend...
